I had a ton of fun being interviewed about GIRL TRIP by James over at Us vs Film ep. 195. I yap a bunch about my visual inspirations for Girl Trip, loosing our 1st AD while filming, but somehow enjoying the challenges of making and keeping schedules for an action film with special effects and fight sequences while also acting and directing. AND, why I’ll never do that again!!! I share the podcast with Oliver Stone’s SNOWDEN and chime in at 37:17. Check it out and enjoy on itunes ep. 195!

Girl Trip
Just returned from Locke, a historic town in Sacramento, with the most character I’ve ever seen, directing my 2nd film; Girl Trip. Girl Trip is a Horror-thriller-comedy about 2 girlfriends trying to kill each other. It’s a multi genre satire about the dark side of female friendships. 8 actors, 6 locations, stunts and spfx and my head was spinning. Starring in a movie on this level that I’m also directing is sheer madness. I had the time of my life!
